3 to 5 years of experience in Accounting A well-developed understanding of bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations and monthly accounting processes including journals General knowledge of budgeting principles and practices Strong commercial and business acumen Process and deadline-driven mindset with a keen eye for detail Well-developed skills in time management, setting priorities and planning Critical thinking and problem-solving skills A strong negotiator who can develop ongoing working relationships Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other financial software and tools for reporting and analysis purposes Ability to problem solve by applying technical solutions to solve accounting issues and database problems Qualification in Accountancy, Finance, or related field Professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA - desirable. Core responsibilities:
POSITION OVERVIEW The Accountant assists the Finance Team to successfully deliver financial outcomes in an accurate and timely manner through the provision of competent financial analysis whilst complying with organisational policies and procedures and legislative requirements. ABOUT THE ROLE Reconciling all accounts Processing payments Conducting daily banking activities Preparation and posting of journals to the general ledger Reconciling reports to third-party records such as bank statements Processing large volumes of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payables Assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions, and liaising with Management about problem accounts Assist in the administration of the core functions of the finance system and the integration of other relevant systems across Camplify business units Preparation and modification of basic Financial Reports as required and assist in all areas of general financial reporting Assist with Camplify’s monthly finance and account process Other duties reasonably requested by the Chief Financial Officer/Financial Controller.
