The rapid growth of this company has led to a number of key positions opening up. We are seeking bright self-motivated individuals to fill these positions and become part of our team of experts.

POSITION

We are looking for an individual who would be able to implement our software as well as train end users in its functionality. This would also involve the maintenance of user documentation, implementation and training manuals. The successful applicant will spearhead this function and liaise with other departments in the company. We are focused on hiring individuals with business knowledge and excellent oral and written communication skills combined with client-friendly personality and client-service skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gain knowledge of our ERP application - Steel Manager III.
  • Perform and document gap analysis (compare clients’ business procedures and software functionality)
  • Provide support to business users and propose modifications and/or enhancements to existing applications to improve their functionality or address any issues that arise
  • Work collaboratively with the clients’ management team to ensure their Operational System meets their on-going needs. Implement changes where agreed.
  • Consulting and liaising with the development team regarding custom modifications required by client
  • Consulting and liaising with the development team regarding bugs / potential software improvements
  • Configure the application based on the clients’ needs.
  • Streamlining and documenting implementation procedures.
  • Conducting training courses to clients re: financial (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cashbook), Purchasing, Sales, and Inventory modules.
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates.

  • Knowledge of all Business processes for a distribution or manufacturing facility

  • Prior experience installing ERP systems

  • Experience with ERP/MRP applications.
  • Skilled in producing technical documentation for software, installation procedures and checklists.
  • Steel Industry knowledge is required
