About the Role:
As an MMX Inside Sales Representative for the Netherlands region, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Divisional/MMX Manager to achieve our ambitious goals. You will be responsible for contacting customers through remote channels, primarily via telephone, to promote our innovative products and services. This role requires fluency in both Dutch and English, and you must be based in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for your territory with an assigned pool of Merit Medical customers, including existing and potential accounts along the full sales cycle
  • Proactively contact assigned customers on a regular basis, mainly by phone, to promote selected products and services to achieve sales targets
  • Identify new sales opportunities and understand customer needs along multiple dimensions
  • Use the sales process, available systems, and tools to plan, prepare, and drive engagement with customers, get commitment to buy, negotiate, and close successful deals
  • Provide advice, support, and detailed explanations of medical products to assigned and new customers via remote communication tools
  • Establish remote sustainable and impactful relationships with key decision-makers in the medical device procurement process
  • Manage and maintain contact and customer information in the CRM tool by updating and capturing strategic information
  • Collaborate closely with customer service, territory managers, clinical specialists, marketing, and other commercial functions to create a seamless omnichannel experience for our customers
  • Effectively manage and plan accounts, including integration of customer data points
  • Represent Merit Medical values and integrity, and comply with policies, quality standards, and processes
  • Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in (inside) sales
  • Profound knowledge of working with CRM tools & MS-Office applications
  • Previous work experience with digital/remote selling techniques and tools
  • Fluency in Dutch and English
  • Residency in the Netherlands

Competitive Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in general management, sales, and/or marketing
  • Previous medical device sales experience and/or experience working in the medical device, healthcare, or pharma industry
