We are currently searching for a Remote Snowflake Data Engineer:

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize data models and ETL processes using Snowflake for efficient data storage and analytics.
  • Implement data transformation logic using SQL, Snowflake Stored Procedures (SQL and Python), and ETL tools to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards integrated with Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and visualization needs.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security within the Snowflake environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Snowflake data warehouse.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Snowflake, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and best practices for deploying Snowflake and ETL services.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including: Source control management, Automation deployments, Deploying Snowflake scripts across environments, and Managing ETL pipeline deployments.

Desired 

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services like Lambda, SQS, and SNS.
  • Knowledge of DBT for building ETL pipelines, testing, and deploying transformation models.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and DevOps practices for data pipelines.
  • Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core) is preferred.
  • AWS / Cloud experience is a plus.

Languages

  • Advanced Oral English.
  • Native Spanish.
