Job description

Overview:
TPSi is seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Manager to join our Federal Sales team. In this role, you will be a key player in connecting industry-leading vendors with prospective federal customers, supporting their missions by driving revenue and building long-lasting relationships. You will leverage your expertise to develop and execute strategic outbound call, email, and marketing campaigns, while also staying ahead of market trends through research and attending conferences. You will work with minimal supervision, requiring strong communication and organizational skills, along with a high level of ambition and drive.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders
  • Highly ambitious and driven, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging work environment
  • Proven ability to handle and meet daily outbound activity targets (40+ calls and emails)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
  • Ability to attend networking events, conferences, and travel as needed (up to 20%)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a focus on key goals

Responsibilities:

  • Research & Strategy: Research and analyze federal agency missions, goals, and initiatives to identify key target accounts and opportunities
  • Vendor Solutions Expertise: Gain in-depth knowledge of our vendors’ solutions to effectively communicate their value propositions to federal customers
  • Campaign Development: Build and execute outbound call, email, and marketing campaigns using internal databases and publicly available resources
  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Manage a high volume of outbound activity to qualify leads, set meetings, and drive opportunities forward
  • Meeting Targets: Consistently meet or exceed the required number of meetings and outreach goals for selected technologies
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide weekly progress reports to leadership and vendors, keeping them informed of results, challenges, and opportunities
  • Networking & Relationship Building: Actively participate in networking events, conferences, and industry tradeshows to build relationships and represent TPSi
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including leadership, marketing, and vendors, to ensure smooth and successful execution of sales initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with federal agencies or within the public sector
  • Familiarity with federal procurement processes and sales cycles
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business development in a competitive environment
