Position Title: Multi-Line Claim Consultant - Remote (CO Residents Only)
Location: Remote (CO Residents Only)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM MT
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000

As a Multi-Line Claim Consultant, you will be responsible for handling a range of self i-insured municipal claims including General Liability (GL), litigation matters, and third-party tenders. This role requires strong multi-line claim expertise.

Responsibilities:
  • Investigate, evaluate, and adjust multi-line claims in accordance with established claim handling standards and laws.
  • Establish reserves and/or provide reserve recommendations within established reserve authority levels.
  • Review, approve or provide oversight of medical, legal, damage estimates, and miscellaneous invoices to ensure they are reasonable and related to the claims.
  • Negotiate settlements in line with Corporate Claim Standards and client-specific handling instructions.
  • Assist in the selection, referral, and supervision of external vendors (i.e., legal, surveillance, case management).
  • Maintain personal diary on the claims system and ensure proper documentation for all claims.
  • Assess and monitor subrogation claims for resolution.
  • Provide effective and timely coordination with clients, claimants, and other parties involved in the claims process.
  • Ensure compliance with CCMSI’s corporate claim handling standards and special client handling instructions.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of multi-line claim experience with a focus on GL claims.
  • CO Claims experience is required.
  • Previous Experience with Self-Insurance, Specifically Municipalities – Experience handling municipal claims is highly preferred.
  • Litigation Experience – Experience in managing and adjusting litigation claims is highly preferred.
  • Tendering Claims to Third Parties – Experience in tendering claims to third-party carriers is a plus.
  • General Liability Claims Experience – Proven experience handling GL claims is required.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of complex claims while providing top-tier service to clients.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • AIC, ARM, or CPCU designation is preferred but not required.
