Profile’s Technical Services Department manages two online design software programs for Engineers, Architects and contractors to assist with product selection and specification drawings. Profile Soil Solutions Software (PS3) is the industry’s only resource that integrates the major erosion and sediment control disciplines. PS3 is a comprehensive source for designing and selecting the right products to address the physical and chemical properties of soil and site characteristics. Through PS3 users develop holistic, sustainable solutions for cost-effective erosion control, vegetation establishment and subsequent reductions in sediment and other pollutants from leaving disturbed sites and entering water bodies. PS3 addresses the five critical design considerations for immediate and long-term vegetation: soils, species selection, erosion and sediment control material selection, installation, and inspection and maintenance.

Introduced in 2019, Profile’s SpecBuilder™ has become an industry leading tool to quickly customize Erosion Control and Revegetation specifications to fit unique project requirements. This easy-to-use platform walks specifiers through a brief questionnaire that allows the program to create updated specifications that will meet their projects site requirements very quickly

Our Opportunity

We are looking for an Environmental Scientist / Engineer / Erosion and Sediment Control professional to serve as an integral member of our Technical Services team. Primary duties include assisting the Western United States and Canada in site specific recommendations that generate increased demand and sales for revegetation, erosion and sediment control and related products and providing timely and comprehensive technical support both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will be an individual with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

· Case Study data collection and drafting.

· Assist Technical Services and Sales Team with product recommendations.

· Compiling and updating format on LNL case studies for LNL case study library.

· Spreadsheet with all of the update dates for SDS, spec sheets, datasheets etc.

· Update letters of compliance.

· Checking soil reports.

· Tech Services email optimization.

· PS3 new users, requested contact etc.

· SpecBuilder email forwarding and assistance.

· Drafting technical letter requests.

· SpecLive biweekly exports.

· Linking SpecLive to other software programs to qualify leads.

· Attend and assist with virtual LNLs.

· Assist in development of automated LNL outreach.

Key Requirements:

· May – August of 2025

· Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree with coursework in civil or environmental engineering, soil science, agronomy, environmental science, ecology, land reclamation or similar natural science degree.

· Experience in erosion control, soil science, vegetation management or similar practice is preferred.

· Ability to travel to regional construction sites.

· Position will be remote.
