Charter Chef experience or similar is required., B1/B2 Visa is necessary as the yacht is US flagged., Proficient in driving a 16ft tender and holding a Powerboat Level II certification is essential., Ability to work well in a team environment..

Key responsabilities:

Prepare and serve healthy Mediterranean-style meals for guests.

Assist with deck duties and interior work as needed.

Drive the tender and ensure guest safety during excursions.

Collaborate with the Captain and Stew to maintain a smooth operation on board.

Job description

This is a remote position.

STARTING IN APRIL, we are looking for an experienced yacht chef/sailor to join an Oyster 82 based in Newport, Rhode Island for private cruising this summer season.

This beautiful yacht runs brilliantly with a crew of three - Captain, Chef and Stew. This dynamic means that each crew member must be versatile and able to help in all departments. Eg. the Chef will be expected to help on deck or with interior work when needed and be proficient in driving the 16ft tender.with guests.

For a passionate chef who loves to sail and be part of a tight team, this could be the ideal summer gig. The owner loves his fine food and wines and enjoys playing host to large groups on board from time to time. He prefers a healthy Mediterranean style of cooking above fancy practices.
