This is a remote position.

Work Schedule: flexible hours up to 40 hours per week
  • (preference for 9 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM)

Job Description

As a Property Manager for this forward-thinking real estate firm, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of residential properties. This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage cutting-edge property management software and industry-leading platforms to ensure smooth operations across multiple properties. You’ll be at the forefront of the company’s growth, handling everything from maintenance coordination to tenant relations, while contributing to the strategic expansion of the business. Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations for a portfolio of 100+ residential properties, with potential for growth
  • Coordinate and manage maintenance requests, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of issues
  • Conduct property showings and manage the entire leasing process, from application to move-in
  • Utilize Rent Ready software to streamline property management tasks and enhance operational efficiency
  • List and market vacant properties on platforms like AffordableHousing.com and Zillow to minimize vacancy periods
  • Manage rental collections and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring timely payments and reporting
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure properties are well-maintained and issues are swiftly addressed
  • Organize and maintain property documentation using Google Drive and Dropbox for easy access and reference
  • Assist in the onboarding and integration of newly acquired properties into the existing portfolio
  • Provide regular performance reports to property owners, offering insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Contribute to the company’s expansion plans by optimizing processes and supporting new property acquisitions
Requirements
  • Proven experience in property management or a related field, with a track record of success
  • Proficiency in property management software, particularly Rent Ready
  • Strong familiarity with Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Gmail) and comfort with cloud-based tools
  • Experience in listing and marketing properties on platforms such as AffordableHousing.com and Zillow
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with tenants, owners, and team members
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team environment
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on tenant satisfaction and property value maximization
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Basic understanding of property maintenance and ability to coordinate effectively with maintenance staff
  • Potential for growth into a leadership role as the company continues to expand its portfolio
