Business Analyst

Job Type: Full-time/ Exempt

Position Location: Remote digital office (work from home), must be U.S. based. Must be available to work during PST business hours. Minimal travel may be required for conference attendance, client meetings, and company-sponsored trainings and events.

Pay Scale: $60,000.00- $85,000.00 starting annual salary (commensurate with experience).

Start date: Immediately

Position Summary:

We are looking for highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analysts to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring that they align with organizational goals. You will be responsible for identifying business needs, recommending solutions, and translating complex processes into clear, actionable plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive business improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform extensive primary source research, gathering a variety of industry data in order to provide key insights to stakeholders.
  • Create reports and presentations using qualitative analysis on companies, markets, and industry trends.
  • Aggregate and synthesize findings into comprehensive deliverables.
  • Craft polished and persuasive proposals for client review and submission.
  • Maintain client relationships by consulting on customer and competitor strategies, business solutions, and management decisions.
  • Conduct ongoing internal and external client updates on progress of research findings.
  • Develop detailed business cases using client feedback and standardized templates.
  • Maintain an updated database and leading indicators to support ongoing campaigns.
  • Develop and refine research scripts and templates for interviews, surveys, and other primary data collection methods.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with client needs and industry standards.
  • Continuously refine and improve research methodologies and workflows.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to enhance the quality of proposals and research scripts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field. Master’s degree a plus, but not required.
  • 2-4 years of related experience in primary research, proposal writing, or business analysis.
  • Prior experience in private equity, management consulting, or M&A research is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interviewing skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency in crafting business proposals and developing research scripts.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends, anomalies, opportunities and risks.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and complete deliverables on schedule.
  • Self starter, able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
