Summary:

The Associate Director, Marketing is responsible for managing, implementing, and optimizing digital marketing activities designed to raise awareness and consideration of our D2C brands that sell annuities and other financial products directly to consumers.  This position is critical to the delivery and performance of customer acquisition strategies.  This scope of this position will span paid media (including paid search, paid social, display media, content marketing, influencer marketing and all programmatic activities) and owned media (including website content, owned social pages, and community management). This role will also be responsible for leveraging available tools and technology to best understand, optimize and report on all digital marketing spend.

Main Accountabilities

  • Contribute to strategies and manage execution across all digital channels
  • Manage paid media agency to ensure delivery against CPM / CPA and other marketing goals and leverage program insights to direct continuous optimization of spend
  • Serve as Community Manager for Relay, including content development, publishing calendar, real-time two-way responses to prospects and consumers in social channels, and coordination with Corporate Communications and PR agency as required
  • Lead day-to-day management and coordination across multiple agencies critical to digital marketing delivery, including creative, influencer marketing and
  • Create project management structures to enable optimal marketing team workflows and serve as primary project management resource on the Digital Marketing team
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Product and Technology, to support delivery of Digital Marketing tasks
  • Design and deliver internal reports that will enable senior leadership to understand ongoing performance of D2C brands
  • Leverage understanding of marketing tech stack to execute and measure campaigns

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in digital marketing and media, brand management, and / or community management with a demonstrated track record of delivery against business goals
  • Deep experience in paid digital media execution, including media planning, tactic selection, partner negotiation, campaign design, ad ops and measurement
  • Ability to understand and translate quantitative information into marketing recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience reporting to and working with senior leadership either internally or at client organizations
  • High degree of attention to detail and organizational skills and a strong sense of personal responsibility
  • Enthusiasm for representing and expressing the brand with prospects and consumers
  • Bachelor’s Degree
