Altera is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager to drive the post-silicon validation process for our next-generation semiconductor products. This role is crucial in ensuring successful silicon bring-up, validation, and production ramp-up while collaborating across engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, leadership skills, and program management expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain project timelines, deliverables, and milestones for all post-silicon validation phases, from initial silicon bring-up to high-volume production.

  • Cross-functional Leadership: Serve as the primary interface and coordinator between engineering, validation, operations, and manufacturing teams to align on program objectives and execution strategies.

  • Technical Program Oversight: Oversee key technical decisions regarding post-silicon validation, system-level debugging, and silicon or system issue resolution. Work closely with engineering teams to diagnose root causes and implement corrective actions.

  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks related to technical challenges, resource constraints, or program execution. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth program progress.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular status updates to executive leadership, highlighting program milestones, key risks, and issue resolutions.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure comprehensive documentation of test plans, validation methodologies, and quality assurance processes. Track and enforce compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices in post-silicon validation program management to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and time-to-market.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor product management, program management, or technical leadership roles.

  • Deep understanding of post-silicon validation, debugging methodologies, and semiconductor manufacturing processes.

  • Strong experience in managing complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to drive technical decision-making and problem resolution in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across different levels of the organization.

  • Experience working with engineering, validation, operations, and manufacturing teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with silicon bring-up, validation methodologies, and system-level debugging.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements for semiconductor products.

  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
