WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Tealium is seeking a passionate and driven Senior QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our industry-leading customer data solutions. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our high standards by applying comprehensive testing strategies, troubleshooting complex issues, and validating software applications across our platform.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will collaborate closely with QA team members, Developers, and DevOps to enhance our testing frameworks, drive automation, and ensure each release meets the performance, security, and scalability expectations of our customers. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, contributing to the continuous improvement of Tealium’s technology and processes.

In this role, you will work closely with the Server Side team and assist in the development and delivery of platform-level solutions such as Tealium Functions, Platform Rate Limiter, Platform Metrics Storage, and more.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

  • Develop, maintain, and execute test plans for new features using TypeScript and Playwright.

  • Document test cases and results clearly in the QA test case tracking tool.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring clear and proactive communication.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA strategies, frameworks, and best practices.

  • Champion QA processes within development teams, driving quality at every stage of the SDLC.

  • Leverage automation and testing tools to deploy, monitor, and validate builds in QA environments.

  • Analyze and interpret automated test results, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Adapt seamlessly to shifting priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM

  • 5+ years of QA experience, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.

  • Proven experience delivering high-availability, scalable enterprise software products.

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and REST API testing.

  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.

  • Familiarity with AWS, GraphQL, and microservices architecture is a plus.

  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, distributed version control systems (e.g., GitHub), and virtualization technologies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.

  • Ability to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive QA best practices, test strategies, and process improvements.
