Job description

Primary Responsibility: dss+ is looking for an enterprising and outcome focused Associate Specialist to join our KM team within Global Services Centre. The Associate Specialist will liaise with the leaders to identify priorities and will be accountable for driving outcomes by following existing KM governance processes, while also demonstrating metrics on impact created. The KM Associate Specialist will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of KM strategies and processes tailored to the specific needs of the business area aligned to. You will capture, organize and share critical knowledge, documents, and processes to drive organizational efficiency, innovation, and decision-making.

 

You will:

  • Promote knowledge sharing in alignment with the Go-To-Market strategy and ensure aligned businesses’ intranet pages are current and relevant

  • Deliver high quality of content sanitization, metadata tagging, and publishing to global KM portal

  • Develop and present metrics to demonstrate results and adapt strategy to drive required outcomes

  • Be adaptable to solve business problems and demonstrate a consultative mindset to provide KM solutions

  • Develop framework, taxonomies and structure to organize knowledge assets in a logical and accessible manner

  • Identify key knowledge sources within the concerned business area, develop strategies to capture both tacit and explicit knowledge from SMEs and stakeholders, and ensure it is stored in the appropriate formats and systems (e.g., databases, intranets, content management systems)

  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives within the business area, promote tools (e.g., intranet platforms, forums) to enable smooth knowledge exchange, and develop processes to ensure ongoing engagement with these platforms across teams and departments

  • Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality, up-to-date content relevant to aligned business area, ensuring it is accurate, aligned with organizational goals, and technically accurate through collaboration with subject matter experts

  • Ensure that KM processes within the business area are streamlined, effective, and contribute to improved operational performance

  • Serve as the KM point of contact for the aligned business, ensuring that their specific needs are met

  • Experience with customizing intranet pages using SharePoint Online will be an advantage
