THUNDER | JOB DESCRIPTION

Head of Agentforce

Location: Remote, United States

Thunder is building momentum in the Agentforce space, and we need a driven leader to take our success to the next level. We’ve already delivered successful implementations and are early movers in this growing market. Now, we’re looking for a high-energy leader to own, scale, and sell our AI and Agentforce solutions.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and business acumen to continue positioning Thunder as a top Salesforce partner. You will be responsible for developing our AI and Agentforce strategy, expanding our market presence, and working closely with both internal teams and Salesforce leadership to drive adoption.

You’ll also bridge innovation with practical execution, ensuring Thunder stays ahead in the evolving landscape of AI-driven automation within the Salesforce and AWS ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, own, and grow Thunder’s Salesforce Agentforce market presence, driving strategy, financial outlook, sales, and execution.
  • Develop and execute Thunder’s Agentforce go-to-market (GTM) strategy, aligning with Salesforce’s evolving roadmap.
  • Lead practice-level strategy meetings, driving discussions on pipeline, bookings, and new opportunities.
  • Curate new practice offerings, including product-specific accelerators, cross-cloud integrations, and industry-specific AI solutions.
  • Work closely with other practice leaders (Data Cloud, Service Cloud, AWS) to drive AI-first solutions.
  • Support pre-sales pursuit needs, engaging prospective customers and partnering with the pre-sales team to support scoping, estimation & proposal creation.
  • Represent Thunder as a thought leader in AI and Agentforce, engaging directly with Salesforce executives to drive referrals and partnership opportunities.
  • Oversee implementations, ensuring successful delivery and high client satisfaction, and acting as a point of escalation for any product capability issues or project issues.
  • Support internal enablement for Delivery resources, working with Innovation & Delivery teams to develop and maintain reusable assets and accelerators.
  • Working with our Alliances Team, strengthening our Salesforce partnership, positioning Thunder as a go-to leader in the Agentforce space.
  • Define a company-wide AI strategy that extends beyond Agentforce, incorporating generative AI, predictive analytics, and automation across all Thunder offerings.
  • Scale the practice, helping mentor and hire a top-tier team to keep pace with demand.
  • Support key Salesforce events as needed - these include Dreamforce, World Tours, QBRs, SKO, SE presentations, etc.

Qualifications:

  • 8-12+ years of visible leadership, deep knowledge, reputation, and experience in specific Salesforce Cloud domains.
  • Recent dedicated experience and focus within Salesforce Data Cloud and AI/Agentforce capabilities.
  • Deep market intelligence on Salesforce and the ability to craft and execute successful growth strategies.
  • Demonstrated results leading a successful, profitable Salesforce partner practice, setting strategic vision and leading cross-functional teams to achieve it.
  • Strong growth mindset and proven achievement of aggressive growth targets.
  • The ability to craft and execute strategic and tactical plans to close increasingly-large/enterprise projects.
  • Strong executive presence, with the exceptional ability to communicate effectively and form lasting relationships across Thunder internal teams, partners and clients, from C-suite level to line manager to architect.
  • Ability to establish key relationships and position oneself as a thought leader.
  • Demonstrated commitment to collaboration across all Thunder layers in the clear support of Thunder’s strategic vision and success.
  • Experience with accurately estimating Salesforce consulting engagements.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery & cross-cloud project execution.
  • Strong understanding of product - including capabilities, product certifications a plus.
  • Aptitude for managing performance of direct reports.
  • Strong team leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Travel required 25-50% of the time (and additional as necessary).
