Key Responsibilities:

  • Payments Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive payments strategy, aligning with company objectives, as well as customer and market needs.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Drive adoption of payments across the existing customer base and new sales and drive monetization of invoiced volume across the portfolio.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, payment network rules, and security protocols, mitigating fraud and chargeback risks.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Partner with payment processors, banks, and fintech firms to optimize performance, reduce costs, and expand market reach through strategic collaborations.
  • Customer Experience: Deliver a world-class customer experience for both our customers and their customers.  Collecting payments should be seamless and easy.
  • Payments Evangelism:  Spread the gospel of payments throughout the organization and train Sales, Onboarding, Customer Success, and Support functions on our payments solution.
  • Market Research & Sales Enablement: Conduct market research to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities, while providing sales and success teams with training, and resources to drive payment adoption.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, and Finance teams to support payments-related initiatives and product enhancements.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics to monitor key metrics, analyze performance data, and iterate strategies to maximize impact.

Does this sound like you?

  • 8+ years of experience in payments operations, fintech, SaaS payments, or related go-to-market roles.
  • Proven track record in launching and scaling payments products with deep expertise in payment processing, ACH, card networks, chargebacks, and compliance.
