The rapid growth of this company has led to several key positions opening. We are seeking bright, motivated individuals to fill these positions and become part of our team of experts.

THE POSITION

The IT Technician is a problem solver and technical resource. Your role is varied, anywhere from monitoring servers and our Oracle cloud infrastructure to rolling out updates of our ERP application to customers.

You are motivated and enjoy the varied responsibilities that come with this position. You can research and learn as you go and offer suggestions on ways to improve our current procedures.

Due to the nature of this position and updating customers, after-hours support will be required based on business needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitoring servers (internal and customer)
  • Diagnosing and resolving server issues
  • Creating and managing Oracle cloud instances
  • Creating and managing Oracle cloud VPN tunnels
  • Performing updates of our ERP application, SM3, on customer servers
  • Creating documentation for internal technical procedures
  • Provide technical assistance for our support team (i.e. help troubleshoot customer technical issues)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College or University degree in an IT related field or comparable prior work experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work in a small team
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining servers. Specifically, Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Skilled in producing technical documentation for internal technical procedures
