Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated FP&A Analyst to join our finance team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial models.
Variance Analysis: Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights into variances and recommending corrective actions.
Business Partnering: Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights that drive business decisions.
Reporting & Presentations: Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
Data Analysis & Insights: Leverage financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
Process Improvement: Support automation and process enhancements to improve financial reporting efficiency.
Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct financial analysis for special projects, cost-saving initiatives, and investment opportunities.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or relevant experience in a corporate or consulting environment.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and BI tools is a plus.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
