The Role

We are seeking a skilled and hardworking Field Services Technician to join our team. The field Service Technician is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company. 

Responsibilities

  • You will drive a company vehicle, dispatched from your home. No need to report to an office
  • You will have opportunities to travel – includes paid drive time, as well as company booked travel
  • You will be responsible for servicing and installing various electronic equipment such as CCTV cameras, Alarms, Point of Sale Systems, Safes. 
  • You will have the freedom to work independently while having the support of the best team in the business
  • You will be involved in the day-to-day, face-to-face customer service while onsite with clients
  • You will learn new technologies in a fast-paced, growing industry

Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
  • Must be able to work independently and be a strong problem-solver.
  • Strong attention to safety and willingness to follow all safety protocols.
  • 24/7 on-call rotation with other techs in your area.
  • Must be able to travel up to 30-40% overnight.
  • experience with various POS systems (Verifone/NCR) a plus
  • Experience with Alarms a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good driving record is required
  • Ability to use a computer and smartphone proficiently
