The Business Intelligence and Analytics team is on a mission to bring relevant data and insights to every person at and user of Outreach, while advancing the use of data in decision making and promoting an insights-centric culture. We are a centralized resource providing a suite of services to Outreach business functions, both internal and external facing, including KPI definition, dashboards & reporting, ad hoc analysis, benchmarking, forecasting, self-serve analytics, predictive models and data pipeline building, and management.
The Role
Outreach is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst for Product Marketing who can identify key levers & indicators of product user behavior that lead to successful outcomes within our Sales Execution Platform. As a key member of our BI&A team, you will provide the Growth & Content Marketing team with data points & metrics, correlative and causal studies, and deep insights that are used for benchmarking, articles, advertising, & deriving high-impact customer stories. This role will report to the Director, Strategy & Analytics

Your Daily Adventures Will Include
Providing packaged data products and written documents summarizing findings and methodologies based on requirements outlined by the marketing team
Assist the marketing team in telling the data-story behind the insights for most effective communication to our customers & the market
Navigate complex product and customer datasets to derive insights based on usage, adoption, & business results.
Highlight and summarize findings for other internal teams, like product management, to highlight any actionable recommendations if relevant.
Conduct market research to identify key research points and findings to support the content narrative strategy
Partner with Engineering and Analytics Engineering to create new data flows and business logic
Our Vision Of You
2-4 years Analytics or analytics-related experience
Strong communication & writing skills including translating technical and complex findings to a less technical audience
An ability to operate in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
Ability to translate business requests to analytical methods to derive desired results
Strong understanding of SaaS product design and key performance indicators of customer usage and engagement
Experience analyzing and summarizing large amounts of data from multiple systems
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail, a sense of personal accountability, and urgency for achieving results
Experience with G-Suite, Zoom, Slack, Office 365
Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, other related Data Warehouse technical stack
Experience with Tableau or other related Business Intelligence tools
R, Python, or object-oriented programming experience is not required, but a significant benefit
DBT experience a plus
The base salary range for this role is $81,000 - $100,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
