A collaborative, motivated, and inspiring individual to join our UX team as Senior UX Researcher & Ops. You will play a key role in our UX research efforts, driving user insights, and helping shape the direction of our products and services.
What You’ll Do:
You will be instrumental in unifying both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to drive user-centric designs. With a deep understanding of user behavior and analytics, you'll craft insights that will shape our products' evolution.
Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Research: Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research to inform the product's direction. This includes but is not limited to user interviews, ethnographic studies, surveys, usability testing, and statistical analysis.
In-Product Behavior Monitoring: Leverage analytics tools and platforms to monitor, analyze, and interpret user behavior within our products.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Product Designers, product managers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to integrate user feedback and research findings into design and strategy.
Data Synthesis: Merge insights from various research methodologies to provide a holistic view of user behaviors and needs.
Mentoring: Guide Product Designers, offering best practices, mentoring, and expertise in UX Research techniques, so they can conduct their own evaluative research.
Advocacy: Act as the user's champion, ensuring that user-centricity remains at the heart of our design and development processes.
Report & Present Findings: Craft compelling presentations and reports to share insights and recommendations with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
UX Tooling: Support the UX Research Director in finding / managing the right toolset for UX Research at Malwarebytes.
Research Operations: Orchestration of processes and measures that support researchers in planning, conducting, and applying quality research at scale, such as: recruiting and managing research participants across studies, standardizing research methods and supporting documentation (e.g., scripts, templates, consent forms) to enable consistent application across teams, managing research repositories and userresearch insights by making data accessible throughout the team and the organization.
Skills You’ll Need to Have:
• 5+ years of professional experience in UX research, with a strong background in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
• Proficient with analytics and user monitoring tools such as Google Analytics, Pendo, Hotjar, etc.
• Demonstrable knowledge of advanced statistical analysis and user research methodologies.
• Proficiency in research tools and platforms such as Dovetail, UserInterviews, etc.
• Outstanding communication skills, with an ability to convey complex data in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent proficiency in English, written and spoken.
• Familiarity with UX design tools and practices.
Nice to Have Skills:
• Cybersecurity domain knowledge is a plus.
• Experience working with distributed teams.
