Job Description:

The Global Account Director of Business Travel is responsible for managing and growing key corporate travel accounts for the brand. This role focuses on developing strategic partnerships with corporate travel managers, travel decision makers and industry partners to maximize revenue, market share and brand preference. Success is measured through increased revenues from assigned markets, improved account revenue, market share and overall sales effectiveness.

 

This position is remotely based. Preferred to reside in the Southeastern Region (Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Atlanta)

Responsibilities:

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify and cultivate business travel opportunities across the assigned markets, including small business segment (Omni Select Business), Southeast region, and accounts assigned by leadership
  • Support the strategy and execution of Omni’s Select Business small business programs, ensuring alignment with the broader business travel goals
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies that align with Omni’s brand vision and revenue goals
  • Foster and maintain strong partnerships with key accounts, travel managers, travel buyers and decision makers
  • Use pricing strategies and financial business principles to increase strategic market revenue growth
  • Develops and supports the design of products, services and events that deliver unique customer value, and organizes activities and resources in a manner that maximizes productivity and efficiency
  • Utilize H360, Lanyon, and other RFP tools to effectively manage and execute corporate travel contracts and negotiations. Deploys technology (Salesforce) to maximize efficiency and sales production results
  • Collaborate with peers on tradeshow and customer event strategies to achieve maximum results serving as an ambassador for Omni Hotels & Resorts
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the corporate travel industry to enhance brand visibility and positioning.
  • Provide regular updates and business reviews to leadership on account performance and key initiatives
  • Lead negotiations for corporate preferred hotel programs and global RFPs
  • Serve as the primary liaison between corporate clients and internal stakeholders, including revenue management and operations.
  • Supports the negotiation of the best possible contract terms and conditions that satisfies customer (internal and external) requirements
  • Analyze account performance, travel patterns, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales, corporate travel sales or global account management.
  • Strong understanding of the business travel industry, including corporate travel policies, TMCs and GDS platforms
  • Proficient in using H360, Lanyon, and other RFP tools to manage and execute corporate travel agreements.
  • Strong organizational and time management with the ability to prioritize
  • Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel within region and beyond as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to sit and utilize telephone/computer for an extended period.

 

Working Environment:

  • Home Office conditions.
