The Senior Manager, Finance Transformation is responsible for building and enhancing US Foods Finance Transformation capabilities. The Senior Manager, Finance Transformation works with the Vice President of Finance Transformation to develop and drive the vision and strategy for finance and accounting processes improvements and system functionality for IT system implementations. The role of Senior Manager, Finance Transformation is to successfully lead the day-to-day finance related technology implementation efforts for the business side of the Finance Transformation team. Subject matter expert in organizational processes, inventory accounting, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting and internal controls/audit. Leads the Finance Transformation Manager and the Finance Transformation Analysts team through identifying finance business performance needs, implementation planning, coordinating and solving issues related to financial testing, system functionality and collaborates with IT Product Owners and business SMEs to ensure financial transactions are complete, accurate and internal controls are appropriate for a systems implementation.Flexible Work Policy: The work for the Sr Manager Finance Transformation position is completely 100% remote anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories. This position may have the potential to travel up to 20% dependent on business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee system implementations from the finance perspective directing day to day activities and tracking projects tasks and outcomes
Gather testing requirements, design testing and plan execution of financial testing for all phases of the project to ensure all business requirements and end-user requirements are tested and validated for functionality
Establish validation criteria and validate QA test cases from an accounting perspective confirming completeness and accuracy of the financial transactions
Participate in the test environment set up and test data preparation ensuring finance requirements are met for adequate financial testing
Collect and translate accounting processes into business requirements for change requests
Lead workshops to gather current and future state process documentation ensuring the new systems seamlessly aligns with accounting needs and individual site requirements
Contribute to the development of training materials, job aids and standard operating procedures for post go-live use
Attend new system training to understand the system function, sufficiency for accounting use and process improvements
Document, elevate and track accounting risks in the RAID log and manage risk mitigation
Partner with the Finance Product Owner and QA Leads to ensure finance requirements are effectively implemented into the system
Drive solution design with subject matter expertise and negotiate process change requirements with the Product Owner and other IT partners to create efficient and reliable processes
Troubleshoot and design scalable finance system solutions
Lead effective communications with cross-functional teams including the Product Owner, Change Management, Learning and Development, Internal Audit and various business subject matter experts
Lead effective communications with finance and accounting business leaders to set expectations, troubleshoot issues and drive outcomes
Support overall implementation by providing robust insight related to Finance business operations, and legacy systems
Manage a team of Senior Finance Transformation Analysts and a Finance Transformation Manager
Other duties as assigned by the VP of Finance Transformation

Finance Transformation Analysts and Finance Transformation Manager
RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: The position is expected to interact with different teams within the Finance/Accounting, Supply Chain, IT, Internal Audit.
External: This role will be responsible for handling vendor communications and resources from various vendors
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Remote: This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a home-based environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of accounting/finance work experience and finance system implementation work experience required (in role or similar role)
Project Management experience
Requirements gathering
Success system implementation experience
Advanced skills using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology or related analytical field required (or related equivalent experience)
MA/MBA preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
PMP, Agile/Scrum certification
Process mapping
User acceptance testing
Supply chain warehouse management system knowledge
Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $95,000 - $155,000.
This role will also receive annual incentive plan bonus.
