Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure)

This role will allow you to work directly with our client, where you will get hands-on experience. We need someone who can help our client overhaul and optimize the Azure environment, including infrastructure, security, and organization of resources.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Overhaul and optimize the Azure environment, including infrastructure, security, and organization of resources.
• Provide development support related to Azure services, ensuring seamless integration and efficient performance.
• Implement and enforce security best practices within Azure, including identity management, access controls, and compliance measures.
• Manage and maintain all GoDaddy-hosted domains, ensuring domain configurations, DNS settings, and SSL certificates are properly managed.
• Plan and execute the migration of all domains from GoDaddy to a new domain management provider, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Monitor Azure infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security risks, implementing proactive solutions as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure Azure resources are aligned with business needs and technical requirements.
• Automate and optimize deployment processes within Azure to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Azure and domain-related issues.
• Document processes, best practices, and configurations for both Azure and domain management.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure setup, security, identity management, and resource organization.
• Strong understanding of Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Active Directory, and Security Center.
• Experience with GoDaddy domain management, including DNS configuration, SSL management, and domain transfers.
• Familiarity with domain migration processes and best practices for transferring domains between providers.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM policies, and best practices for securing cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform, or ARM templates).
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure environments and domain configurations.
• Experience working in a cloud-first environment, optimizing infrastructure for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Strong documentation skills for tracking domain assets and Azure configurations.
• Ability to work independently on large-scale Azure projects while also collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• C1+ proficiency in English
• Must be located in Costa Rica, Mexico, El Salvador, Argentina, Bolivia.

1. 30-minute screening held via HireVue (on-demand video interviewing platform)
2. 1-hour google meet/Zoom technical interview with one of our engineers
3. 1- hour google meet/Zoom technical interview with a senior member of our technical team
4. 1-hour interview (might be split up 30 and 30) with our client
