Job description

The Role:

The Managed Buyer role is designed to maximize private-party vehicle acquisitions for dealerships, operating as a dedicated contractor. This role requires task management, and seamless collaboration to achieve success.

The Managed Buyer will leverage our purpose-built platform to contact private-party sellers, assess vehicles, present offers, and coordinate appointments with dealerships and sellers. This position is ideal for detail-oriented, disciplined individuals who thrive on driving results through organization and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Communication and Outreach:
    • Engage private-party sellers via our platform, building rapport and addressing inquiries effectively.
    • Use clear, confident communication to convey vehicle values and offers.
    • Schedule seller appointments with dealerships for vehicle appraisals and acquisitions.
  • Operational Excellence Through Task Management:
    • Set daily outreach and offer goals, maintaining focus and accountability.
    • Monitor and track acquisition efforts in our CRM system, ensuring no opportunity is missed.
    • Implement a systematic approach including tracking seller responses, prioritizing high-value leads, and adapting strategies in real-time.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Assess vehicle conditions based on seller-provided information and dealership criteria.
    • Provide actionable insights to dealerships by identifying trends and opportunities.
    • Use our reporting tools to measure performance and refine outreach strategies.
  • Collaboration and Follow-Through:
    • Coordinate closely with dealership teams to align acquisitions with inventory needs.
    • Ensure seamless communication between sellers, the dealership, and us.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage sellers across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and task management.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and task-oriented systems.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport quickly through phone and digital communications.
  • Results-driven, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in automotive, sales, or customer service is preferred but not required.
