Your role in our mission
Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas.
- Applies advanced subject matter expert knowledge to bridge between clients, project managers and technical staff to define, document and share business requirements and expected impact
- Work with the client to develop business specs at the start of a technical project using in-depth evaluation of multiple factors relating to member services
- Analyze, plan, design, document complex business processes and or make recommendations to improve business processes to support client’s technology goals
- Help verify that all requirements have been met by approving and validating test results in all phases of the project
- Actively participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried out through the entire project.
- Provides leadership and oversight over other less experienced business analysts duties and activities on IT projects and nurture newer team members by providing guidance and support
- Provides input into developing and modifying systems to meet client needs and develops business specifications to support complex modifications.
What we're looking for
- 10 or more years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst position with 5 or more years of Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience with Medicaid Member Eligibility and Enrollment business and systems processes
- Excellent requirements elicitation and analysis skills and the ability to create user stories and acceptance criteria from the elicitation process
- Knowledge of computer programming concepts such as configuration, development and batch processing, and software development lifecycle Agile/Waterfall
- Strong client communication skills translating client needs to actionable objectives
- Strong executive presence and communication skills to deliver messages to business leaders, clients, and technical personnel, this includes verbal and written communication

The pay range for this position is $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
