Job Description

DUTIES: Contribute to a team responsible for performing data analysis, modifications, and extractions using Python, JavaScript, and MaxL; perform data migrations and integrations using Oracle; use SOAP and REST APIs for web development and data manipulation; analyze, store, and report data trends using Essbase, and setup integration for Oracle and downstream systems; automate processes and workflows using Redwood RMJ; apply machine learning principles, including evaluation and optimization of data sets, and data calculations to enable systems to analyze and predict data patterns; use SSO to authenticate users; perform project management within the complete Software Development Life Cycle; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible for 100% remote work.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience performing data analysis, modifications, and extractions using Python, JavaScript, and MaxL; performing data migrations and integrations using Oracle; using SOAP and REST APIs for web development and data manipulation; of which one (1) year includes analyzing, storing, and reporting data trends using Essbase; automating processes and workflows using Redwood RMJ; applying machine learning principles, including evaluation and optimization of data sets, to enable systems to analyze and predict data patterns; using SSO to authenticate users; and  performing project management within the complete Software Development Life Cycle.
