Key responsabilities:

Manage analytical data requirements for the claims department and oversee complex data projects.

Conduct claims payment analysis and ensure accuracy in provider reimbursements and claims processing.

Gather requirements and document business processes related to healthcare claims.

Collaborate with IT and other departments to improve data management and reporting processes.

We are currently seeking a full- time Provider Claims Analyst to join our IT Team. This is a remote position,

The Provider Claims Analyst is responsible for the analytical data requirements of the claims department and management of complex data projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, informatics, public health, nursing, or a behavioral/mental health discipline (Master’s Degree Preferred).
2 + years experience claims payment analysis. Knowledge of managed care claims information systems, including provider reimbursements, claims editing, research guidelines, medical billing and coding, and appeals processing.
2 + years experience business process analysis in healthcare, including gathering requirements, and documenting business processes.
2 + years SQL experience
1 + year SAS, R, and/or Python experience
1 + year BI Software experience (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.)
