Northeast Regional Client Director - Sales

SUMMARY: Develops new and existing business in an assigned region and liaises with operations

staff to ensure effective delivery of sold work. Establishes excellent customer relationships, ensuring

total customer satisfaction and repeat business. Assists with specific events at Director Level

directed in partnership with management, operations and marketing staff. Understands the markets in

which GP operates and seeks market and product intelligence to ensure successful sales.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrable Northeast Region Market Expertise in Leadership and DEI - deep knowledge of

local market trends, regulations, and client needs specific to the region.

  • Develops and owns an annual business development plan for the designated geographic territory

that details account growth strategy, new business strategy and how quota will be achieved.

  • Drives and leverages competitive research to understand competitive market factors and

competitors.

  • Builds and executes regional campaigns aligned to the annual plan to drive sales.
  • Supports the growth of GP Strategies market share in the Northeast region
  • Brings an existing portfolio of clients for introduction to GP’s Leadership and DEI Solution.
  • Consistently meets or exceeds sales target and monitors and reports progress towards

target achievement.

  • Generates and maintains a pipeline of minimum 1.5x sales target.
  • Participates positively in product and service development as required.
  • Participates positively to the overall business planning as required.
  • Provide accurate weekly revenue forecast and quarterly regional business plan updates.
  • Ensures quality systems are maintained and developed following the GP quality procedures.
  • Builds strong collaborative partnerships with the Marketing team to achieve regional growth

objectives.

  • Partners with Inside Sales to expand existing relationships and secure new business.

Minimum Education And Experience

  • Minimum Degree Level Education
  • Minimum 5 years’ track record of consultative and solution selling methodology in L&D and

training industry.

  • Proven success delivering revenue in excess of 100% of sales targets over a consecutive threeyear period.
