Description

Senior Manager, Marketing Operations, Remote USA

The marketing operations manager will be responsible for overseeing the marketing intelligence, platform operations (MarTech) and marketing enablement functions at EIS. This role is essential for driving data-driven marketing strategies, ensuring the smooth operation of marketing technologies, and enabling the marketing team to execute campaigns and lead processing effectively.

The ideal candidate is analytical, strategic, and has a good grasp of data governance with respect to B2B enterprise technology. You will work in a hands-on and proactive approach in defining what needs to be accomplished to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities

There are three main pillars to this role:

Marketing Intelligence

Drive our marketing performance strategy and deliver insights into marketing successes and opportunities.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing analytics strategy to provide actionable insights into marketing performance and opportunities
  • Define key metrics and develop scalable reporting dashboards to offer a holistic understanding of marketing performance, campaign influence, attribution, and growth drivers
  • Develop and manage a cadence of reporting, generating insights, and providing recommended actions that will drive incremental improvement to key metrics and overall performance
  • Analyze the conversion funnel from anonymous visitor to closed deal and identify areas to optimize funnel velocity
  • Lead data governance and hygiene programs to ensure data is shared appropriately and is well maintained
  • Create the necessary reporting infrastructure to support the BDR program's effectiveness and performance
  • Build and maintain inbound/outbound marketing channel models to aid planning and ROI analysis of BDR activities
  • Manage target account structures and measure the engagement of these target accounts via the various marketing channels

Platform Operations

Optimize our martech infrastructure, its interactions with other business functions and support the marketing team in their campaign execution and daily activities.

  • Own and execute strategic integrations across the technology stack
  • Identify areas of inefficiency and propose solutions that will improve effectiveness
  • Identify, create, and monitor Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) to ensure the team meets or exceeds performance expectations
  • Optimize the MarTech infrastructure to ensure lifecycle routing is correct, and sales handoff is smooth and understood
  • Evaluate, implement, and integrate new tools into the tech stack as needed
  • Maintain and update scoring model in addition to associated workflow automations
  • Provide guidelines and rules in data governance that could be leveraged across the organization
  • Create, clean, append and normalize data within Hubspot to be used for segmentation, analysis and reporting
  • Monitor health of data, systems, and processes on an ongoing basis
  • Support the BDR program with an eye towards efficiency and lead conversions
  • Mentor other team members when it comes to tool usage

Marketing Enablement

Train and advise the marketing team in the use of our martech stack and reporting capabilities, to support their campaign activities and day-to-day operations.

  • Collaborate with individual team leaders to identify operational hurdles and reporting needs
  • Build templates and reusable processes to help marketers create more efficient campaigns
  • Support growth team with lead processing activities and assignments
  • Manage all things related to tracking technology and stay abreast of where the industry is going with respect to privacy - UTMs, tracking pixels, GTM, etc
  • Administer internal tools (e.g. Monday project management, budget tracking, etc ) to help the department operate effectively
  • Document operations when it comes to the tech stack and develop SOPs for team members to reference

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of proven professional experience in a Marketing Operations Leadership function with demonstrated analytical, strategic, and data governance experience within a B2B enterprise technology environment.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience with

  • Marketing Automation Tools and Enterprise CRM
  • Hubspot and Salesforce, or related tools
  • Reporting and Data Analytics with PowerBI, Google Analytics or related tools
  • Experience in B2B or Enterprise environments

Bonus if familiar with

  • GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM and associated email laws

Compensation

The targeted pay range for this position is $100,000 - 130,000 yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to your salary, you will also receive stock options as part of our offer, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
