Job description

We are hiring an IT Systems Manager who likes to get hands-on with the current technology while managing processes and people.

Your Role:

  • Demonstrate hands-on expertise with Azure AD, including user and group management, identity and access management, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access policy, Azure Multifactor, Azure AD Directory Roles, andAzure PIM
  • Implemented Autopilot and Intune for application load, set, update, and policy management
  • Stay up-to-date with Azure AD best practices and implement them as needed.
  • Oversee the maintenance, patch management, and optimization of all critical Windows-based systems.
  • Implement best practices for system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability.
  • Proactively identify and address potential system vulnerabilities and security threats.
  • Develop and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery plans for critical systems and data.
  • Regularly test and refine backup and recovery procedures to minimize downtime in case of system failures.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure data retention policies and compliance requirements are met.
  • Lead transformative IT projects aimed at improving the organization's infrastructure and operations.
  • Develop project plans, set objectives, and ensure successful execution within specified timelines and budgets.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours system support, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Respond to critical system incidents and emergencies promptly, diagnosing and mitigating issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for IT Procurement
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to systems, configurations, project details, and consolidation efforts.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on system performance, security, project progress, and acquisition consolidation to senior management.
  • Led, mentored, and managed a team of system administrators, ensuring the successful execution of system maintenance and project tasks.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.


Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or Operations Manager with a focus on Windows systems.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Active Directory, including experience with Azure AD Connect and other related services.


Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Jira, Microsoft tools (e.g., Office 365), and Google Workspace.
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management skills, experience with transformative projects, and consolidation projects post acquisitions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team management abilities.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., MCSE, Azure certifications) are a plus.
