Job Description: 

Account Manager, Marriott CS

Summary of Position:

The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of hotel and resort client marketing campaigns on our Brand team working with our Marriott clients. Critical to the position is maintaining a high levels of customer service and meeting or exceeding client expectations. The Account Manager is the facilitator of clear and accurate communication to other departments on behalf of the client. As the liaison between the hotel and resort properties and Vizergy, it is the Account Manager’s responsibility to be the client’s advocate and ensure that their team is maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and results. Long-term client satisfaction and retention is the ultimate goal. 

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for helping hotel and resort clients achieve their strategic goals and maximize online visibility
  • Address client concerns and ensure the resolution of issues in a timely manner, with follow-up when appropriate
  • Retain accounts through the development of strong relationships with key decision makers and users within an organization
  • Ensure clients are proficient in using services by identifying user needs and providing relevant training
  • Collaborate with the account team in the preparation and delivery of client reviews and provide recommendations that contribute to the growth of the marketing campaigns in addition to providing updates on new products and services that will benefit the client
  • Responsible for the timely completion of all client requests
  • Continual learning of our products and services with the objective of providing solutions to reach our clients digital marketing goals.
  • Responsible for providing the highest level of customer service possible
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business from an accredited college or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of hotel experience with sales, operations or marketing
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing with strong Internet research skills
  • Analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent customer relationship skills with the ability to grow and retain strategic accounts
  • Ability to wear multiple hats
  • Outstanding verbal / written communication and presentation skills
  • Works well in a team environment and is a self-starter
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks appropriately
