THE ROLE

The Manager, Global Payroll will oversee and process the organization’s payroll for all global employees, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations for global employees across North America, EMEA and Australia. This is a working manager position with direct reports located in the US and Europe. .



WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE 

  • Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions 
  • Manage payroll processes within UKG, including transitioning from ADP Workforce Now and other relevant systems
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, Records of Employment and changes to pay rates
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions 
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices 
  • Assist the company’s audits by providing records and documentation as needed 
  • Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing systems and procedures 
  • Work with the Accounting team to ensure payroll entries are properly recorded and reconciled to the general ledger. 
  • Collaborate closely with HR and Finance Teams
  • Performs other duties as assigned 

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE 

  • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, payment, reconciliation, internal controls, and payroll taxes
  • 5+ years of related experience required 
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Must possess strong supervisory and leadership skills 
  • Must be proficient with payroll software (UKG preferred) and MS Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
