Job Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted advisor to inside sales team members and their partners and customers.
  • Provide answers to technical questions, including solution selection, sizing, and capabilities of all products in the SonicWall portfolio.
  • Provide product demonstrations of SonicWall solutions across the SonicWall portfolio.
  • Participate, as a technical resource, in architectural and design discussions to provide compelling business and technical solutions showing how SonicWall solves specific challenges.
  • Be a technical resource to inside sellers with questions about governance and compliance including: HIPAA, PCI, SOX, FERPA, CIPA, GDPR, etc.
  • Develop and deliver technical training for inside sales team members on topics including, but not limited to: SonicWall solutions, product updates, network security, and information security.
  • Maintain a home lab and current certifications in SonicWall solutions.
  • Maintain and develop, with other team members, a shared lab of SonicWall and other networking technologies.
  • Assist with coverage during outside SE’s absence.
  • Assist the SonicWall support organization, as required, to drive resolution of support cases.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years support or inside sales experience with networking and information security solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with network security and information security.
  • Experience presenting technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences in small and large group settings.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required.
  • The right candidate has a strong desire to learn and grow their technical and sales skills.
