As Executive Director, you will focus efforts on enhancing the value of Cleveland Clinic (CC) data through the provision of an enterprise framework to identify, create and manage timely, secure, high quality and reliable data. Your work will support various data management efforts, including Master Data Management (MDM), Information Management (IM), and Data Quality. Prioritizing these efforts will help maximize Enterprise value driven opportunities while creating repeatable, measurable standards.
A caregiver in this position works from 8:00AM – 5:00PM
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Participate in the development of information management architecture.
- Partner with EA and enterprise leadership to drive change management and culture change initiatives.
- Develop a community of data stewards along with relevant policies, procedures, communications, etc.
- Influence and support new processes and/or update inadequate processes related to how CCF data is utilized and/or shared internally and/or externally.
- Coordinate with key enterprise efforts (e.g., compliance, legal, privacy, risk management and information security).
- Provide additional support related to regulatory review and regulatory impact on analytics and data management.
- Ensure that applicable policies/procedures are created, implemented, followed and enforced.
- Align and document decision rights and authority related to data management.
- Support the development of track metrics and success measures and inform key enterprise committees on the health of EA and CC’s associated Data.
- Lead direct and indirect internal business process resources to map out current and future state processes related to the data management strategy.
- Partner with stakeholders on the design, selection, and implementation of Data Management technologies by acting as Program Owner of MDM and IM.
- Design, recruit and facilitate discussions among Data Stewardship resource teams.
- Builds a Data Governance office and recruit, hire and manage applicable personnel.
- Gain consensus on strategy, report on status of roadmap implementation and quantify employee and technology requirements.
- Plan and manage the daily operations within the parameters of departmental operating and capital budgets.
- Organize and lead monthly or quarterly Data Governance meetings, council with various constituents and report findings to Executive Leadership.
- Direct the work of employees for area of accountability, including staffing, goal setting, OKRs, coaching and mentoring, employee recognition and training, and performance management.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Bachelor’s Degree and ten years of Data Governance experience, either leading or participating on teams that required Master Data (Provider, Patient, or Payer), leadership and communication, business process management, analytics and reporting, ROI, CAPEX, and OPEX management, knowledge of EMH/EMR applications and exposure to Data Quality, MDM, Business Intelligence tools OR Master’s Degree and eight years of experience
