Job description

Salted Stone, a fast-paced, full-service digital marketing agency, is looking for a Senior HubSpot Solutions Strategist to join our growing team. This is a mid- to senior-level full-time position reporting to the Director of Solutions on our Solutions Architecture team (commonly known as Technical Marketing elsewhere).


The Senior HubSpot Solutions Strategist provides comprehensive support to the solutions team, possessing complete knowledge and deep understanding of specialized areas, principles, and practices within their professional discipline. They quickly assess problems & come up with best-in-class plans to solve them. In resolving a wide array of issues, they employ creative & technical solutions. This role represents HubSpot solutions expertise, representing a fully qualified, experienced professional at the mid to late career position.

Ideal candidates enjoy working directly with our clients and internal team to lead engagements from a technical standpoint (think: ideation all the way up to execution) and are organized, great communicators, and aren’t afraid to tackle challenges head-on! Though this is largely a client-facing role, you won’t be responsible for the day-to-day management of client needs and requests (that’s what we have our Client Services team for).

 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Execute and deliver all elements of the Salted Stones Solutions Team Product offerings consistently and efficiently (Data Migration, Portal Strategy, and HubSpot Onboarding including Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, etc.)
    • Lead process and workshops to design CRM system setups and optimization on HubSpot, including mappings, technical data strategy, general process and lead flow.
    • Map out the sales processes and data management requirements of the new CRM infrastructure.
  • Interact directly with and provide a translation layer to technically-oriented marketers and software developers, internally and on the client-side.
  • Contribute on client-facing calls, providing technical expertise and a complete understanding of tools to help clients understand and use offerings effectively.
  • Develop client-facing supporting documentation and processes for new technology configurations, customizations, and functionalities.
  • Execute assigned tasks with a high degree of quality and on time.
  • Provide accurate time estimates for your work, work within timelines and budgets, and other applicable project management concerns.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team by identifying areas for optimization, streamlining processes, and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Train other team members on all Salted Stone's Solutions Team Product offerings (Onboarding, Data Migration, Portal Strategy) and be a support for others as they work through delivering the services.
  • Work closely with the development team (both internally and externally) to connect existing systems to HubSpot
    • Be able to generate a standard ERD for either existing or proposed integration structure
    • Leverage understanding of data structures to provide recommendations and implementation of systems setup
    • Be able to discuss 1st party, 3rd party, and Middleware integration solutions
    • Troubleshoot integration and data problems
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support and drive in new sales and upsell opportunities.
    • On sales calls demonstrate understanding of Salted Stones Solutions Team Product offerings in a way that demonstrates values
    • Ask relevant questions to prospects that pinpoint pain points and challenges in a way the will open up value proposition questions
    • Post-call provide recommendations to sales team about what tiers of what offerings would be helpful to the prospect, and why
    • As needed, provided language to sales rep that can be used in SOW as needed
    • Leverage pricing calculator to meet budget targets and generate any needed pricing information. 


Required Competencies

  • Successful experience in a Solutions Strategy, Technical Marketing, Marketing/Revenue Technologist, Marketing/Revenue Operations, etc., role (agency experience a plus); ideally suited for mid to late-career level
  • Previous agency experience in a client-facing role.
  • Proven track record and advanced experience with HubSpot (Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, Service Hub, CMS Hub, Operations Hub, Commerce Hub)
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to drive and participate in multiple client engagements at once
  • Strong technical writing skills & documentation skills, primarily for creation of compelling client-facing deliverables
  • Ability to confidently communicate with clients regularly.
  • Excellent project management, organizational and time management skills; and you're comfortable managing multiple projects (budgets, timelines, personalities) simultaneously.
  • Advanced Understanding and/or direct experience with Google Analytics, Databox, and similar analytics tools. 
  • Advanced understanding and/or direct experience with Google Tag Manager
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing and sales automation tools, business intelligence tools, data enrichment tools, etc.
  • Advanced Experience with SEM/SEO tools. (Example: Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Yoast, etc.)
  • Advanced experience architecting and building scalable marketing, sales, and service operations systems, specifically using HubSpot.
  • Ability to analyze opportunities to deploy creative solutions and automation that streamline productivity, reporting, and the customer experience.
  • Technical knowledge of marketing and sales automation tools, business intelligence tools, data enrichment tools, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with other MATs (Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • Experience with other Marketing/Sales/CS Ops point solutions tools. Examples: Intercom, Drift, Zen Desk, etc.
  • Proficiency in IPAAS software (e.g. Zapier, automate.io, etc.) and middleware.
  • General understanding of global data privacy laws and requirements, such as GDPR.
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools and platforms. (Examples: Domo, Salesforce Einstein, Snowflake, Tableau, Grow, etc.)
  • Experience building conversational (chatbot) flows using Intercom or Drift.

In a fully remote role. We’re set up to hire in CA, CO, ID, LA, MI, NC, NM, NV, PA, TX, and WA . Your new Leader is located in ID (MST time). Our wider team is spread across North America, Australia, Ireland, India, and the Philippines so there may be times that we ask you to flex your schedule to allow for collaboration with different timezones. This flex goes both ways.

The base annual salary for this position will be between $114,300-132,000 depending on the successful applicant's relevant skills and experience.
