Job description

Summary:

As a Connectivity Billing Specialist focused on our fast-growing connectivity practice, you will play a critical role in managing our billing, collections, and accounting processes for thousands of customers each month. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of how our sales and financial operations interact with our billing systems to ensure connectivity revenue is recognized completely and accurately on a timely basis every month.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Connectivity Billing:
    • Manage and oversee connectivity billing processes.
    • Perform collections tasks, including customer notifications and A/R reporting.
    • Process approved write-offs and maintain accurate records.
    • Understand revenue recognition requirements under US GAAP as part of a publicly traded company.
  • Maintaining Systems:
    • Utilize Telecom Tracker and Tableau to track and report on connectivity data.
    • Handle QuickBooks tasks, including daily and monthly uploads, as well as credit card billing reconciliation.
  • Connectivity A/P:
    • Manage vendor relationships and process payments.
    • Reconcile invoices with billing and highlight any discrepancies.
  • Automation Focus:
    • Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), and Collections.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

 

Compensation:

Compensation Range: $55,000-$60,000

Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.  This position is not eligible for a variable pay component as part of the hiring range.
