THE OPPORTUNITY:

This remote opportunity is an existing vacancy open to candidates residing anywhere in the United States and Canada. 

VelocityEHS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer primarily focusing on Salesforce development and integration expertise. In this role, you will play a crucial role in developing, and maintaining seamless integrations between Salesforce and multiple internal business systems, including Marketo, DocuSign CLM, Outreach, Gainsight, Adobe Workfront, Forma.ai, and Sage Intacct. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, extensive experience with Salesforce, and an understanding of web technologies and APIs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Development and Integration: Contribute to projects and individual efforts to design, develop, and configure Salesforce applications, ensuring seamless integration with various internal business systems.
  • Operational Support: Provide ongoing support for internal business systems, including responding to production issues and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of design specifications, development tasks, and system configurations for reference and knowledge-sharing purposes.
  • Data Analysis and Optimization: Analyze data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for
    optimization within integrated systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of Salesforce, web technologies, and APIs to facilitate seamless integrations and effective troubleshooting.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 1+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, software systems supporting efficient business processes, and 1+ years in a software development or similar role.
  • Salesforce Certifications: Administrator and Platform App Builder
  • Integration Experience: Experience with Salesforce integration with multiple internal business systems, including but not limited to Marketo, DocuSign, Outreach, Gainsight, Adobe Workfront, Forma.ai, and Sage Intacct is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, Lightning Web Component, and object customization
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex business requirements, propose effective technical solutions, and lead investigations into new technologies and ideas.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience working with Salesforce CPQ, 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, software systems supporting efficient business processes, and 2+ years in a software development or similar role.
  • Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of services outside of Salesforce including REST/SOAP APIs and cloud providers like AWS.

VelocityEHS is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices by offering market-based salary ranges. The expected salary range for this position is between $98,550 and $127,950 USD (United States) or $98,250 and $135,850 CAD (Canada). We aim to hire between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range and offers at the maximum of the range are uncommon. The final offered salary will be based on candidate’s proficiency in skill set, prior relevant experience, internal equity, market considerations, and other factors. This role is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.
