Job Description:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes and systems to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Document and communicate findings to the project team.
- Work closely with the project team to design and implement the integration of PLM and SAP systems.
- Define integration requirements and develop functional specifications.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Conduct testing and validation of the integrated systems.
- Elicit and document business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, system configurations, and integration workflows.
- Ensure that all requirements are clearly defined and documented for the development team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather feedback and address concerns.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and address any issues or risks.
- Assist in project planning, including defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and ensure that milestones are met.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project completion.
- Conduct pre-project discovery activities to gather information and understand the current state of the business processes and systems.
- Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and scope.
- Create detailed process flow charts to visually represent the current and future state of business processes.
- Document the sequence of activities, decision points, and system interactions.
- Identify opportunities for automation, streamlining, and integration.
- Collaborate with the development team to define test scenarios and test cases.
- Support system testing activities during the implementation phase.
- Identify and report any issues or defects, and work with the team to resolve them.
- Ensure that the integrated PLM/SAP systems meet the defined requirements and functional specifications.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in PLM/SAP integration projects.
- Strong understanding of business processes and systems, with the ability to identify areas for improvement.
- Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements and functional specifications.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Project management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
