The role

We are on the lookout for a Performance Marketing Specialist (freelancer) to support our Acquisition Marketing Team.

In this role, your mission will be to drive high-quality lead generation and optimize digital marketing campaigns to ensure business growth.


Responsibilities

1. Digital Marketing Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Design, implement, and optimize multi-channel digital marketing campaigns tailored for the Italian market.
  • Develop audience segmentation strategies to target the right prospects across key platforms: Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and TikTok.
  • Continuously A/B test creatives, copy, and audience targeting to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Ensure all campaigns align with business goals, brand guidelines, and compliance requirements.

2. Lead Generation & Funnel Optimization

  • Take ownership of the lead generation strategy, ensuring a steady pipeline of high-quality leads for the Sales Team.
  • Optimize campaigns for the best Cost per Lead (CPL) and the highest Conversion Rate (CR) to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Leverage retargeting and lookalike audiences to enhance acquisition efforts.
  • Monitor lead quality and collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure conversion optimization.

3. Analytics, Reporting & Budget Control

  • Track and analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, HubSpot, and other analytics tools.
  • Provide weekly performance reports, offering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Manage and control campaign budgets, ensuring efficiency and optimal allocation of resources.
  • Construct post-campaign analysis reports, identifying key learnings and opportunities for improvement.

4. Collaboration & Autonomy

  • Work effectively both independently and in collaboration with internal experts, leveraging their insights and feedback.
  • Coordinate with the content, design, and CRM teams to create compelling marketing assets that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, platform updates, and industry best practices, proactively suggesting new growth opportunities.

About you

Ideally, you are a highly analytical and creative marketer with a strong focus on performance-driven campaigns.
On top of this, you are:

  • Experienced in digital marketing, with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in lead generation via paid social (Meta, LinkedIn, Google, TikTok).
  • Business-oriented and creative, with a strong visual eye and execution skills.
  • Data-driven, making decisions based on analytics and performance tracking.
  • Hands-on with A/B testing and experimentation, always optimizing for better results.
  • Proactive and challenge-driven, eager to take on responsibility.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, with strong communication skills.
  • Experienced with HubSpot, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager (a plus).
  • Familiar with web tracking, conversion optimization, and marketing automation tools.
  • Background in the education sector is a plus.
