Your specific duties will include:
Entering and updating provider credentialing information in the system with accuracy.
Verifying licensure, certifications, education, and work history for healthcare providers.
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations.
Tracking credentialing and re-credentialing deadlines, ensuring timely submission of documents.
Communicating with providers, insurance companies, and regulatory agencies to obtain required documentation.
Assisting in audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity.
Generating reports related to credentialing status and compliance.
Maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive provider information.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
1-2 years of experience in credentialing, healthcare administration, or data entry preferred.
Familiarity with credentialing databases and healthcare compliance standards.
Strong typing and data entry skills with high accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external agencies.
Pay Rate Range: $22.00- $24.00 per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
