We are seeking a Senior Copywriter with 5+ years of experience in healthcare and/or clinical research marketing, with a strong focus on consumer-facing content. This role requires the ability to translate complex medical and scientific information into clear, engaging, and compelling messaging for broad audiences, including patients, caregivers, and healthcare consumers.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of healthcare marketing, consumer behavior, and compliance considerations and is passionate about making clinical research more accessible and understandable to the general public. 

What You’ll Be Working On:
  • Dive deep into scientific literature and clinical trial data to fully grasp the mechanisms, benefits, and potential impact of emerging treatments.
  • Develop consumer-friendly marketing content for a variety of channels, including websites, digital ads, social media, email campaigns, brochures, and educational materials.
  • Craft compelling, empathetic messaging that encourages patient engagement and participation in clinical trials.
  • Tailor content for different audiences, including patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and clinical trial sponsors.
  • Work closely with designers, strategists, and medical experts to ensure messaging is clear, compliant, and impactful.
  • Ensure all content adheres to industry regulations (FDA, HIPAA, etc.) and follows ethical marketing practices.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, audience insights, and competitor messaging to inform content strategies.
  • Optimize content for digital marketing, including SEO, paid media, and social engagement.
  • Edit and refine content to maintain a consistent brand voice while making complex medical information easy to understand.
What You’ll Bring to OneStudyTeam:
  • 5+ years of experience in copywriting, content marketing, or communications, with a strong emphasis on consumer-facing healthcare content.
  • Proven ability to create engaging, empathetic messaging for patients and healthcare consumers.
  • Experience writing marketing materials for clinical trials, patient recruitment, biopharma, or medical devices is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, digital marketing trends, and content strategy.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, HIPAA) in healthcare marketing.
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex medical topics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Experience working in an agency setting or in-house healthcare marketing team preferred.
