Job description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and driven Video Editor to join our fast-growing marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing compelling and engaging short-form video ads (typically 1-minute or less) that drive direct response on paid social channels such as Facebook and Instagram. You will collaborate closely with our creative strategists to produce performance-driven video assets that capture attention and ultimately drive conversions.

Key Responsibilities


1. Video Editing & Production

- Edit short-form video ads (~30-60 seconds) optimized for direct response performance on Facebook and Instagram

- Incorporate engaging transitions, text overlays, motion graphics, and sound design that align with campaign objectives

- Source and integrate stock footage, music, and sound effects when needed 2. Creative Collaboration

- Work closely with the marketing team, creative strategists, and influencers to refine and enhance video concepts

- Brainstorm and propose new video strategies to capture audience's attention in the first few seconds

3. Performance Optimization

- Apply direct response marketing principles to maximize conversions (hooks, strong CTAs, etc.).

- Incorporate feedback from marketing analytics to optimize content for improved engagement and ROI.

4. Project Management

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

- Organize and archive all project files, ensuring easy accessibility for the broader team.

5. Quality Control
- Perform thorough reviews of all video deliverables for accuracy in messaging, branding, and technical standards. - Troubleshoot any technical or creative issues that arise throughout the editing process.
