TexasThe role is developing and updating BI reports as well as communicating actionable insights to improve corporate decision-making. Should be able to manage data, evaluate its results, and display them strategically by using visualization tools, DAX queries, charts, and relationships. Also, understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications. This role uses independence and judgment, works to solve data issues and problems.
Key Areas of Responsibility & Critical Tasks:
Engage in prototyping, designing, developing, and publishing Power BI Reports
Develop Power BI Data models and recommend best practices for report creation and visualizations
Implement security in reports and dashboards
Troubleshoot reporting issues and tune report performance
Responsible for implementing security on developed Dashboards in accordance with security and access requirements
Study, analyze and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence.
Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights.
Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
Spot key performance indicators with apt objectives
Analyze previous and present data for better decision making
Transform business requirements into technical publications
Build multi-dimensional data models
Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models
Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts
Run DAX queries and functions in Power BI
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in Business Analytics tools developing Reporting and Dashboards
5+ years in Reporting and Analytics using Power BI - M Query, DAX, Data Modelling, RLS
Hands-on experience with SQL
Great numerical and analytical skills
Experience working in Agile development environment with tools such as Jira
Good communication skills to translate business requirements into Dashboards and Reporting
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or applied math

Experience in working with Power BI, Tableau & Azure
