Our team specializes in complex IT projects, from system decommissioning to major system implementations and cloud migrations. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive strategic IT projects and ensure successful execution from initiation to completion.

Role Overview

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and manage large-scale Enterprise IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, enterprise architects, and key stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in managing Waterfall projects and is familiar with Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Enterprise IT projects spanning 6 months or longer.

• Oversee decommissioning systems, data center migrations, lifecycle upgrades, and major system implementations (e.g., ERP, CRM, business line applications).

• Develop comprehensive project plans from scratch in collaboration with Enterprise Architects.

• Utilize Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps Boards, and other project management tools to track progress.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Communicate project updates effectively, developing weekly status reports for different audiences, including executive leadership.

• Present project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to an executive-level audience.

• Work in Waterfall project environments while incorporating Agile methodologies where applicable.

• Drive cloud-related projects, including cloud migrations (preferred but not required).

• Optimize documentation processes by developing corporate-branded templates and reports.

• Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint for project tracking and communication.

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic business and technology objectives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on large-scale Enterprise IT projects.

• Proven track record managing projects lasting 6+ months.

• Strong background in Waterfall project management; Agile experience is a plus.

• Experience managing data center migrations, system decommissioning, lifecycle upgrades, and major IT implementations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps Boards, and other PM tools.

• Strong experience developing and maintaining project plans from scratch.

• Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to present to executive audiences.

• Expertise in Office productivity tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

• Ability to develop corporate-branded documentation templates and reports.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cloud projects and cloud migrations.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.

• Experience working in highly regulated industries is beneficial.
