Job description
Salary: P300 - P400 per hour
Schedule: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST (4 hours a day any time between client hours)
What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- 2+ years of Paralegal Experience in Real Estate Law practice
- Experienced paralegal supporting US clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Seasoned in legal research and writing
- Keen to details and maintains confidentiality
What will you do?
- Setting up files in our system which includes communicating with buyer/sellers, obtaining and importing relevant info regarding the parties and transactions, researching and pulling tax records, deeds, liens and prior title policies.
- Assisting with and monitoring files to make sure tasks are completed such as obtaining loan payoffs, title commitments, payoffs, homeowner association dues)
- Draft documents (deeds, lien affidavits, 1099s)
- Submitting documents for recording
- Final title policy preparation
- Software programs we use:
- Qualia
- Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Softpro
