About the position

Under the direction of the VP, TPM Implementations & Quality Assurance, The Technical Program Manager of Implementations is a creative problem solver and is responsible for implementing technology solutions to solve business problems. To be successful in this position, one must have the ability and discipline to work on multiple projects and demonstrate excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills. The candidate best suited for this position takes the lead of complex projects, navigating multiple lines of businesses, partnering with the highest level of teamwork to accomplish positive outcomes with minimal supervision. Thought leadership and the ability to execute and achieve set goals are key attributes that the candidate in this role must possess. In addition, this is a high-level position where one must possess true leadership qualities.

Key areas supported by this role within the Technical Operations team focuses on Product Implementation, Configuration, Integration, Implementation Escalation Management, Migration Projects, Implementation Documentation, Product Requirements, System Requirements, & Implementation Requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate projects to ensure timely, successful completion in alignment with organizational goals, policies, and contracts.

  • Full understanding of how to implement and manage Teladoc products and services, while creating and using project plan templates for assigned projects, which include clear milestones and assignment of project task responsibilities

  • Manage project scope, customer priorities, and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate project risks and issues as needed.

  • Provide leadership, direction and effective communication across customers, project teams, and stakeholders.

  • Use governance tools (scope documents, status reports, risk/change logs, etc.) to effectively manage projects and track revenue forecasts.

  • Participate in pre-sale process for medium or large size projects

  • Ensure complete project closure (and hand-off) including customer acknowledgement, equipment reconciliation, and transition to Support

  • Contribute to team performance by providing feedback and acting as an effective team leader.

  • Train physicians and other clinicians

Qualifications expected for the position

  • 3+ years of project management experience, leading enterprise-level customer-facing programs and projects.

  • Understand device manufacturing processes and oversee shipping, delivery timelines, and logistics for customer-purchased hardware

  • Understanding of analytics, budget considerations and ability to identify upsell opportunities with existing implementation projects

  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry-recognized project management methodologies

  • Demonstrated understanding of implementation project governance expectations (scope management, tollgate, and risk & change management processes)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (i.e. email), Web browsers, Wi-Fi, Networks, mobile and cloud apps

  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels (including Executive Level/C-Suite) and able to lead high-level technical discussions to influence decisions or come to resolution

  • Ability to understand clinical workflows and use cases to optimize the technical implementation process

Qualifications preferred for the position

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Healtcare sector experience, including high-level understanding of HL7 integrations, healthcare SaaS/PaaS project management experience.

  • SaaS Implementation experience

  • High level understanding of Enterprise Authentication methods, VPN setups

  • 3+ Years experience in the development and delivery of IT process/implementation metrics and reporting

  • Knowledge of HIPAA standards

  • PMP Certification
