Job description

The Manager of Contract Management is responsible for managing complex contracts and administrative activities supporting the Family of Companies’. This role supports all contract administration functions to operationalize agreements, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders ensuring process, document, and data integrity, and developing and improving processes and procedures.

Core Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions
  • Manage and oversee complex contract documents, ensuring redline edits and version control are applied, to accurately reflect the scope of services, terms and conditions, pricing, and performance requirements. 
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state & local laws/regulations, as well as HIPAA & Privacy laws. 
  • Interpret and explain complex contractual terms and conditions and the implications of such provisions to internal business stakeholders. 
  • Consult with appropriate legal counsel on complex contractual terms or language modifications. 
  • Adhere to FoC’s contract administration related policies & procedures. 
  • Manage and track key deadlines on contract deliverables and collaborate regularly with internal and external business stakeholders on contractual issues and status. 
  • Maintenance of central repository of all vendor contracts and related documentation. 
  • Responsible for completing additional job duties as assigned by Senior Contract Manager. 
Qualifications
Minimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management or related field preferred or 3+ years of experience in vendor or contract management, with a focus on applying organizational standards when drafting, redlining, negotiating, and managing vendor contracts. 
  • Proficiency in utilizing and interpreting contract financial analysis. 
  • Demonstrated skill in owning the contract lifecycle process from initiation through negotiation and execution. 
  • Experience negotiating technology and commercial transactions with a familiarity of legal issues in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud/SaaS product offerings and software licensing. 
  • Prior experience with Federal & State contracting is preferred. 
 Knowledge & Skills:
  • Sensitivity to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population. 
  • A commitment to the values of the organization while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, patience  
  • and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), especially Excel and related computer software.  
  • Familiarity with Contract Management Systems (CMS) or software solutions is desirable. 
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to manage multiple contracts and deadlines, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Experience in ServiceNow, DocuSign, or Workday preferred. 
  • Personable; able to work comfortably with individuals at all levels within the organization. 
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills; frequent proofreading and checking documents for accuracy. 
  • Must be highly detail oriented. 

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to communicate effectively within the work environment, read and write using the primary language with the workplace.
  • Visual and auditory ability to work with clients, staff and others in the workplace continuously.
  • Frequent speaking and listening (25-75%) to clients, staff, and others in the workplace.
  • Utilize computer and cell phone for effective communication.
Conditions of Employment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.
  • Must attend any required training.

Time Type:

Full time

Compensation:
$105,000 - $120,000 Annually
