We are looking for a Buyer & Category Manager to join our client's Procurement team. This role will support the Category Head of Procurement in delivering the Group Procurement strategy, ensuring that the business maximises value from third-party spend, including cost reduction, working capital benefits, revenue generation, and service delivery.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in proactively managing and optimising supplier partnerships and ensuring compliance with Procurement policies and third-party risk management requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a Strategic Spend Management agenda in line with corporate policies and procedures.
Lead and support contract renewals, ensuring commercial and service propositions meet expectations.
Identify opportunities to generate efficiencies and improve cost and revenue.
Manage and administer contract amendments and changes.
Serve as the subject matter expert and escalation point for all strategic suppliers.
Lead regular supplier business reviews to manage supplier performance and enable value delivery.
