Pursues excellent service to our employees by providing streamlined, accurate and effective maintenance and distribution of Human Resources and Pay data as a member of the HR Support Services Pay Advising team.  Coordinates and administers Leave Pay transactions and service recovery by providing support and follow-up with employees, Leave Of Absence Intake, Leave Of Absence (LOA) and Short Term Disability (STD) Claims Coordinator teams.  Responsible for administration and issue resolution in leave management pay.  Ensures employees are paid within the guidelines of State and Federal legislative laws as well as company sponsored Leaves of Absence programs and policies, and adheres to Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and leave plans, to ensure timely processing of pay while on a Leave of Absence.

Responsibilities:
*This is a remote position
  • Applies Pay Advising process and procedure from the receipt of a new notice for leave until the employee’s return to work date.  
  • Enters hours on the employee’s timecard from the first day of absence, determines and applies leave accruals, state or local supplemental pay programs, consults with the employee on eligibility for continued pay, and accounts for when employees will be unpaid.
  • Determines the leave disposition and changes the status which impacts continuation of pay and benefits.
  • Validates and processes LOA Pay using knowledge of the system and provided documentation and tools.
  • Monitors LOA pay activity for adherence to defined processes and policies and denies or escalates exceptions.
  • Maintains appropriate pay data in proper systems to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  • Researches, resolves and responds to escalated cases from LOAIntake and other Leave teams.
  • Provides excellent customer service to the employee, manager, and other HR members
  • Provides redirection and educational opportunities to increase customer knowledge and resolve the current situation.
  • Process pay transactions in the timekeeping system and basic data integrity pre/post transactional audits.
